A sedan left the roadway on Roslyn West Shore Road just after 2 a.m., according to police.
Police say the car was fully engulfed in flames when officials arrived.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene and has not been identified.
The roadway was closed for hours this morning but has since reopened.
Anyone with information is asked to call police.
