Today was the second day of a trial for the Baldwin Harbor doctor accused of peddling prescription pain pills.

Dr. Leonard Stambler is accused of illegally selling prescriptions for oxycodone. According to court documents, DEA agents saw him selling prescriptions in his car and outside of his home, even leaving prescriptions on his front porch for people to pick up.

In court, prosecutors described Stambler as a "lonely guy" who would sell prescriptions to win friends.

Stambler tells News 12 Long Island that he is "going through hell."

If convicted, Stambler could face up to 20 years behind bars.
