Trayvon Martin's father was on Long Island Wednesday, where he spoke at Nassau Community College about his message for change.
Tracy Martin says he wanted to do something positive in the wake of his son's death and encourage others with his message for change. Martin says his message is to encourage young people to realize their self-worth, reignite the fight for civil rights and teach respect for differences.
Students and faculty who attended his talk say the most important lesson they learned was the value of tolerance.
Martin believes his son would be happy about the way he's trying to make a positive change in the world.
