The CDC has released new guidelines to keep travelers safe this holiday season.
Among them, is to be aware of the travel risk where you are going. The CDC says airline flights with layovers and trips on cruise ships pose a higher risk of COVID-19.
The agency is also urging travelers to mask up, because it is required on most forms of transportation, including airplanes.
In addition, travelers should check on hotels and rental cars and find out what cleaning and safety precautions are taking place.
