A 2-year-old Central Islip girl who was pulled from a backyard pool died Wednesday night at Stony Brook University Medical Center.
The toddler's mother found the girl floating in their pool on Applegate Drive Wednesday afternoon. Police say the girl, Jennasia Dominick, was in cardiac arrest when emergency workers rushed her to the hospital.
The mother thought Jennasia was playing with her older siblings at the time of the incident. The girl was pronounced dead at 11:20 p.m.
