Man seriously hurt after being ejected from e-scooter in Island Park
The victim suffered a severe head injury after going over the handlebars of the scooter, police say.

An electric scooter operator suffered serious injuries following a crash in Nassau County late Tuesday afternoon.
The 30-year-old man was riding a Teewing high-performance e-scooter southbound on Austin Boulevard near Saratoga Boulevard in Island Park around 4:30 p.m., according to police.
The individual suddenly stopped short at the intersection which caused him to be ejected over the handlebars.
Nassau police tell News 12 the victim suffered a severe head injury as a result of the collision and was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
The unidentified male is currently listed in critical but stable condition.
No one else was hurt.
