Fourth-grade students in Lindenhurst on Thursday wrote letters to Santa Claus to make their holiday wishes come true this Christmas.
The kids in Leighann Hollweg and Nicole Cook's class at the Alleghany Avenue School are wishing for items like video game consoles, dolls and other toys for Christmas.
For every letter written, retailer Macy's is making a contribution toward the Suffolk County chapter of the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
The letters will be delivered to Santa on Saturday, or National Believe Day.
