Annual Hampton Classic Horse Show kicks off in Bridgehampton

Hampton Classic executive director Shanette Cohen says they have something for everyone, including great sports, over 80 shops and a kids area with lots of activities.

The 48th annual Hampton Classic Horse Show kicked off Sunday in Bridgehampton.
Thousands of spectators are expected to attend the weeklong event that features horses and riders from across the country.
Hampton Classic executive director Shanette Cohen says they have something for everyone, including great sports, over 80 shops and a kids area with lots of activities.
The event runs through Sept. 3 and admission is $20 per carload.
Admission is free on Tuesday through Thursday for members of the military and seniors. It will also be free those days for anyone who brings three non-perishable food items for the Sag Harbor Food Pantry.
