Frolic with the basset hounds and compete in one of the contests like Costume Pawrade, 10-meter sprint, 16-inch hurdle, high jump, obstacle course. Test your bassets skill at sprinting, jumping, weaving and climbing. No experience necessary. Gold, silver and bronze medals will be awarded for each event. Beagles, bagles and all other dogs are welcome. Blessing of the animals ceremony at 1 p.m. Great Basset Merchandise and Raffles. Rain or shine. Pre-registration recommended due to limited space.

Everyone who has grown a pumpkin is encouraged to bring it and show off their growing skills. In addition to awards for the 3 heaviest pumpkins, we will also award prizes to the 'Rookie of the Year' and 'Best Pumpkin Grown by A Child' (under the age of 15). Contestants who need to have their pumpkins unloaded must be at the nursery no later than 10 a.m.
