It’s time to trim the fat on your expenses.
News 12 Consumer Reported Janice Lieberman has The Real Deal on why some of the insurance we purchase may not be worth the cost.
We all need health, car, homeowners and rental insurance, but other types of policies may not offer you the payoff expected.
Renting a car this summer? You may want to skip the added insurance at the rental counter. If you already have car insurance on your own vehicle, you are probably covered.
It’s tempting to purchase travel insurance, but it’s pricey and not easy to cash in if you cancel. A travel rewards credit card will likely pay for lost luggage, delays or cancellations.
Your homeowners or rental insurance may cover stolen or lost items when traveling domestically.
Also, stay away from extended warranties offered by a retailer. For most appliances and devices, they are a waste of money as the manufacturer has a good warranty.
