Nassau County police are expected to release new details of a 1974 homicide investigation on Wednesday.

Sources tell News 12 the probe is linked to the death of Barbara Waldman, who was found her dead in her Oceanside home laying face down with her hands bound behind her back.

She had been strangled with her stockings.

News 12 will provide updates on the 52-year-old cold case as they become available on Wednesday.
