A group of Bensonhurst tenants is putting up a stink over the alleged mismanagement of garbage in their building.
They say the situation at 1684 West 10th St. is becoming a health hazard and want the building management company, Lilmor, to take action.
A resident sent photographs to News 12 that appear to show a trash pile in the hallway. Witnesses are accusing the building supervisor of leaving garbage there for days before taking it out for collection.
They also say they have rodents like mice and possums in the building.
When News 12 cameras arrived at the building, the super was cleaning up piles of trash one floor at a time. The management company says he left it there over the weekend to deal with a personal emergency.
Lilmor says the building is generally clean and called it a one-time lapse.
