An 18-year-old motorcyclist was seriously injured during a crash Tuesday morning in Miller Place.

Police say a driver attempting to make a U-turn around 7:46 p.m. collided with the motorcyclist near Jonah Road.

The Middle Island teen was taken to Stony Brook University Hospital for treatment.

The driver sustained no injuries.
