Taxi strikes pedestrian in Patchogue
A taxi struck a man in Patchogue Thursday morning. The incident happened at around 4:15 a.m. on West Avenue. Police say 31-year-old Wilson Sisalima was walking across the street when he was hit.

A taxi struck a man in Patchogue Thursday morning.
The incident happened at around 4:15 a.m. on West Avenue.
Police say 31-year-old Wilson Sisalima was walking across the street when he was hit.
Sisalima was rushed to Brookhaven Memorial Hospital. News 12 is told that he suffered serious injuries.
The driver of the taxi was not injured.
So far, no charges have been filed.
