People across Long Island continue to show their support for the people of Ukraine.
The North Shore Synagogue and its congregation in Syosset are holding a supply drive.
Blankets, masks, sweatshirts, backpacks, and first aid kits are among the items collected so far. "We hope that this will bring some sort of comfort to people that are there. We know this is such a difficult time for so many over there, as well as here its affecting many people. So we hope it’s just a small way we can help,” says one of the organizers.
The donations will be shipped to Ukraine soon.
