News 12 Long Island has learned that officials are contemplating more security at Syosset schools after the discovery of racist graffiti.
A Syosset School Board member is proposing the installation of more surveillance cameras in the district.
The proposal comes after swastikas and other anti-Semitic graffiti were scrawled last month on the doors, walls and windows at Syosset High School.
It's unclear how much the security cameras would cost or where the money would come from.
