Syosset native Judd Apatow's comedic mind has made many
movies including Knocked Up, Funny People and the new Netflix film, a pandemic pic called "The Bubble."
Apatow
says his upbringing has affected his work.
“I look back now and think I
had the greatest childhood on Long Island. After school we would get on our
bikes and drive down Jericho Turnpike, ride to Huntington, go to Walt Whitman mall. I mean everything we did you would
never let a child do now,” says Apatow.
Apatow also has a new book called Sicker in the Head, a
sequel to his best seller Sick in the Head.
The book
features interviews with the greatest comedians of our time, including one with
John Candy that Judd did for his Syosset High School radio station when he was
a student there.
