Driver crashes through Medford car dealership to steal another vehicle

Police are asking for the public’s help identifying the individuals responsible for crashing into a Medford car dealership to steal another vehicle on Thursday.
Investigators say the suspect or suspects broke into the Nissan dealership on Route 112 around 1:30 a.m. and stole the keys to a 2023 BMW.
They then used that vehicle to crash into a 2022 Nissan, which then struck the building and broke the window.
They took a 2023 Dodge from inside the showroom before fleeing the scene.
“We block every entrance at night,” said mechanic Kevin Buschor. “But they just broke windows, jumped right in the showroom, ripped the key box right off the wall, broke into it, and took all the keys.”
The incident is not only impacting the business, it’s impacting customers as well.
Employees told News 12 one potential customer flew out to Long Island Thursday to take a look at one of the cars that was smashed by the time he got there.
Employees also say this is the third time this year cars have been stolen from Nissan 112.
Police confirmed that they are investigating similar incidents that occurred in the area over the past few months.
Next door at Brown’s Automotive, car experts say high-performance vehicles are often targeted to be sold for parts or even sold overseas. While they haven’t had a break in, they’re staying extra vigilant.
“It just shows the lengths that they'll go to to get what they want….” said sales rep Matt Dorfman. “We really have to dot our I’s, cross our T's every day and keep an eye out to make sure we protect our product.”
