A Syosset school is closing its doors to in-person learning Monday after a staff member tested positive for COVID-19.
In a note to parents, Syosset Central School District officials say South Woods Middle School will be closed on Monday as the county investigates the case.
Students will still have class, but all instruction will be done virtually.

They say students should check their Google Classroom for further instruction from their teachers.
The building will also undergo cleaning.
