A Syosset doctor is among 11 people accused of illegally distributing over a $1 million in prescription painkillers.
Prosecutors say Dr. Moshe Mirilishvili wrote over 13,000 unnecessary prescriptions for Oxycodone.
News 12 Long Island has learned the ring operated out of a storefront in Upper Manhattan.
Mirilishvili is accused of making over $2.5 million off the prescriptions.
If convicted, Mirilishvili faces up to 20 years in prison.
