Police are searching for the person responsible for the death of a Central Islip man.

Officers responded to a home on Second Avenue earlier this month after Marco Tulio Pineda was found dead in the backyard.

Detectives say an autopsy found the 51-year-old was a victim of a homicide.

News 12 has been told he worked as a flooring installer and frequently worked on businesses on Suffolk Avenue.

Anyone with information is asked to call police.
