The Wyandanch Union Free School District is asking the public to help choose its next mascot logo.
The district is calling on the community to decide between two logos after deciding on the Wolves as its new mascot last month.
Wyandanch’s previous mascot, The Warriors, did not comply with the state’s requirement that schools remove any Native American names and imagery or risk losing state funding.
The survey closes on Tuesday, Aug. 5.
