How happy are New Jerseyans? Garden State residents are the sixth happiest state in the U.S., according to one study.

The CBD company Joy Organics analyzed the research. The data used included unemployment rates, the number of mental health providers, suicide rates and other factors. Tri-state neighbors Connecticut ranked No. 3 and New York ranked No. 4.

The top states listed:

5) Minnesota

6) New Jersey

7) Nebraska

8) Maryland

9) California

Illinois and Utah tied for No. 10.
