9h agoPolice say a person was hospitalized when a car was hit by an emergency service vehicle Thursday in Patchogue.
They say it happened around 1:45 p.m. as the emergency vehicle was going through the intersection of North Sunrise Service Road and Medford Avenue with its sirens on.
Police say the person hospitalized sustained minor injuries.
