Superintendent: Patchogue-Medford School District students report being watched by strangers

The superintendent sent a letter saying students reported four men in ski masks sitting in a teal Ford Bronco at the south entrance of Buffalo Avenue and taking photos of female students.

Multiple Patchogue-Medford School District students reported being watched or approached by strangers in three separate incidents, according to the district.
The superintendent sent a letter saying students reported four men in ski masks sitting in a teal Ford Bronco at the south entrance of Buffalo Avenue and taking photos of female students.
Another suspicious man was reportedly caught in the vicinity of Andrea Avenue watching a female student at her bus stop inside a black Honda.
A third man in his 50s with balding gray hair approached a male high school student on Pennsylvania Avenue. He was driving black Chevrolet SUV.
All of the incidents happened on Feb. 17.
Police confirm they have been made aware of the reports and are investigating.
School officials want to remind the community ahead of winter break this coming week to be mindful and report any suspicious activity.
