Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Darryl Green says Wednesday will see temperatures in the mid-50s before a colder opening day Thursday in the Bronx.
WEDNESDAY: Mostly sunny and cool. Highs near 56. An isolated shower or flurry possible around midnight with a cold front. Lows down to 35.
THURSDAY - OPENING DAY: Looking good. While colder, it'll be sunny with highs around 50. A few 20 mph gusts for the game could impact the direction and carry of fly balls! Lows down to 42.
FRIDAY: Increasing clouds and warmer. A few showers possible after sunset. Highs in the 50s during the day, temps approaching 60 by 9 p.m. Lows hover around 59.
SATURDAY: Partly cloudy, breezy, and warm. Surge of Gulf air means highs likely into the 70s, maybe even 80. Showers and thunderstorms likely in the afternoon. Temps drop significantly at night, down to the 30s.
SUNDAY: A cold morning and windy afternoon. Highs only near 52. Lows down to 40.
