Suffolk SPCA: 2 puppies ingested cocaine and fentanyl; owner charged
The Suffolk County Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals says two puppies are recovering after ingesting cocaine and fentanyl.
They say the 15-week-old chihuahuas got into the drugs.
They say the two dogs were taken to an animal hospital and were given doses of Narcan to reverse the opioid overdose.
The SPCA says the animals' owner, Adam Dziomba of Port Jefferson Station, is charged with animal cruelty.
