Suffolk Sheriff's Office arrests 7 people for DWI over holiday weekend

Police say Juan Ochoa was charged with a felony DWI after entering a checkpoint and being arrested Friday in the town of Southampton.

Seven people are facing charges for driving drunk over the holiday weekend in Suffolk.
Police say Juan Ochoa was charged with a felony DWI after entering a checkpoint and being arrested Friday in the town of Southampton. He has three previous DWI convictions.
That same day, Oscar Flores-Fuentes was arrested after speeding and swerving over the lines on the expressway near Exit 57.
Melissa Ann Essig also failed a sobriety test in Patchogue on Christmas Eve, according to officials.
Police say both Flores-Fuentes and Essig have been charged with aggravated DWI.
