Officials say more than $1 million is coming to Suffolk County to protect the drinking water.
The money is a state grant to continue five more years of pesticide testing at golf courses, vineyards, farms and nurseries.
If pesticide levels are high, agencies will have to figure out why and then provide help to reduce the levels.
