Suffolk police say a 2-year-old Commack boy who was taken by his mother's boyfriend has been found unharmed.
Zakiya Mitchell says her 2-year-old son, Dio Palermo, was taken from his home on Moreland Road Saturday afternoon.
Police say they actively searched for Sherman Roberts Jr., who was identified as Mitchell's boyfriend, who took off with the baby in her Mazda SUV.
They say Sunday morning, officers received an anonymous 911 call that alerted them to the vehicle. Roberts was then pulled over in Wyandanch.
The baby's father, a rap artist known as Fat Bible, says he was relieved to have his son back in his arms.
Police say Roberts, who is homeless, is being charged with kidnapping among other charges.
He's being held overnight and will face a judge Monday.
