Officers rescued a man who drove into the West Islip marina Friday night, according to Suffolk County police.
Authorities say the man allegedly drove his 2005 Acura into the marina on Dock Road just after 9 p.m. The events leading to the incident are unclear.
He was pulled out of the water minutes later. Police say he was conscious and hospitalized with injuries that are not considered life-threatening.
