Two Suffolk County police officers came to the rescue of tiny ducklings that were caught in a storm drain on Wisteria Circle in Bellport.
They rescued the ducklings by removing the drain. Then they used a pool skimmer to raise the ducklings to higher ground.
The police officers had noticed something was not right after they saw the ducklings' mother acting erratically.
Thanks to the work of the Suffolk County police officers, the ducklings were happily reunited with their mother.
