Suffolk police ask for public's help in finding hit-and-run driver
Police are asking the public for help in finding the hit-and-run driver who injured a pedestrian in Amityville.
Police say a man driving a red sedan hit a pedestrian back in December. The incident happened at the Sunoco gas station on Broadway.
The pedestrian was taken to the hospital and treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
Anyone with information is asked to call Suffolk Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
