The officers were treated for smoke inhalation and are expected to be OK.

Police officers rescued a dog from a house fire in Deer Park.
Official say three Suffolk officers ran into the home on Homer Avenue to save the dog.
The officers were treated for smoke inhalation and are expected to be OK.
The dog was reunited with its family.
A cat also inside at the time was able to make it out on its own.
