A Suffolk mom is accused of driving drunk with her young child in the car.

Police say they were called to Garden City Park just before 9 p.m. Sunday after a car hit a pole at Hillside and Tuxedo avenues.

The say 51-year-old Noreen Foster, of Port Jefferson, was at the wheel while intoxicated. They also say her 6-year-old child was in the vehicle.

Officials say there were no injuries reported after the accident.

Foster is facing several charges under Leandra's Law and was expected to appear in court Monday.
