A deer stuck in an East Islip canal was rescued Saturday morning by the Suffolk Marine Bureau.

Officers say they were able to secure a boat line around the animal and lead it to a floating jet ski platform.

They then pulled it from the water and brought it to land.

The deer was uninjured, according to authorities.
