5h agoA state employee has been indicted for the rape of a teenager at Brentwood Residential Center.
Suffolk County District Attorney Ray Tierney says 40-year-old Ovzie Cannon, of Queens, sexually abused a 15-year-old girl at the residential facility on several occasions.
According to the investigation, Cannon worked as youth support specialist between January and February of 2023.
Investigators say he provided the girl with cannabis-infused edibles before engaging in sexual acts.
