Suffolk DA investigating mother who fled from Medford to Florida with 8-year-old daughter
The girl's father dropped Toni Simmons off at the Comfort Inn on Route 110 and when he came back, Carrie Walker and his daughter were gone.

8h agoA mother who fled from Medford to Florida with her 8-year-old daughter is now under investigation by the Suffolk district attorney.
Carrie Walker is Toni Simmons' biological mother and was on Long Island for a pre-arranged visit Sunday.
The girl's father dropped Simmons off at the Comfort Inn on Route 110 and when he came back, Walker and his daughter were gone.
Police then issued a missing persons alert. Simmons was found safe with Walker on Monday.
Walker has not been charged with a crime yet.
