Toms River man pleads guilty to distributing child sexual abuse material

A Bay Shore man and Central Islip woman were indicted for sex trafficking and other related charges, according to the Suffolk County district attorney.

Danny St. Louis, 43, and 37-year-old Samantha Wimmer allegedly sexually exploitated two female victims.

St. Louis was also indicted for allegedly raping a 13-year-old child numerous times. According to an investigation, in early 2023, St. Louis allegedly met the minor through a mutual acquintance and provided her with cocaine. He then allegedly began to sexually abuse her and caused her to become addicted to crack cocaine.

Both were arrested when investigators say one of the victims escaped from the hotel where she was being kept.

St. Louis is being held without bail. Wimmer's bail was set at $500,000.
