An Amityville woman was charged Wednesday for selling fake COVID-19 vaccination cards.
Suffolk County District Attorney Raymond Tierney says Julie DeVuono, owner of Wild Child Pediatric Healthcare, made $1.5 million by selling fake vaccination cards and then registering the information with the state.
Two others were also arrested for their involvement in the scheme.
DeVuono is also charged with submitting false oxycodone prescriptions for people who were not her patients.
DeVuono is due back in court next month.
