Suffolk County Legislators are set to meet later this week to discuss efforts to block asylum seekers. 
Lawmakers are expected to vote Thursday morning on whether to hire an attorney to explore options to block migrants from being sent to Suffolk County.
The meeting begins at 9 a.m. at the William Rogers Legislature Building in Hauppauge.
