Police are looking into a string of holdups that occurred two hours apart from each other.

Officials say a man robbed the Capital One Bank on Merrick Road in Merrick yesterday around 11:45 a.m. The suspect is described as between 55 and 60 years of age wearing a Toronto Blue Jays hat.

Police say shortly after, a man with the same description held up a Capital One Bank on Franklin Avenue in Garden City.

According to police, around the same time a man described as 6'2'' with dark clothing held up a TD Bank on Merrick Road in Rockville Centre.
