UPDATE FROM SUFFOLK COUNTY EXECUTIVE STEVE BELLONE, March 25
Suffolk County Executive Steve Bellone says there are 2,260 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the county.
He says 7,763 residents have been tested, with 28.7% of those confirmed positive.
Testing is continuing to "ramp up" throughout the county.
Number of ICU beds being utilized is at 67, up from 50 on Tuesday.
The number of COVID-19 hospitalizations is up to 206 as of Wednesday morning. It was at 163 on Tuesday. There are 63 available ICU beds currently in the county.
"My message to all the small businesses out there struggling - we are with you. We are not going away. This is going to be a long-term battle and we are going to be with you every step of the way."
134,000 meals have been provided to students in the county who are not in schools.

Bellone says 895 businesses have connected to the county's Business Response Unit. More than 5,000 employees have been reported as furloughed or laid-off. "We are working on collecting the data, because we know that those numbers are just a slice of what is actually happening out there."
