Police chase down 2 suspects in Valley Stream Target robbery

Two men accused of stealing from a Target in Valley Stream were arrested on Friday afternoon, according to police.
Authorities say 19-year-old Jahkeli Mason and 36-year-old Darren Gordon entered the store just before 3:30 p.m. They placed multiple items in a shopping cart and went to leave without paying.
Loss prevention officers confronted the duo, who responded by making verbal threats and shoving one of them. The suspects then fled the scene on foot.
Police say they were located a short time later and apprehended after a brief chase. No injuries were reported.
Both men are facing robbery and grand larceny charges.
