A man was injured when gunfire erupted at a massive house party in Dix Hills overnight.
Police say some 400 people were attending the party at a home on Langhans Court when gunshots rang out.
A 34-year-old man was shot in the arm. He was hospitalized and is expected to be OK.
The gunman was not apprehended, but police say they arrested the homeowner, Rodney Jones, on a criminal nuisance charge.
Two partygoers from Brooklyn, identified as Shamel Williams and Travis James, also refused to leave the party and resisted arrest, according to police.
The property was left a mess following the party. A neighbor tells News 12 that she's not surprised by the turn of events, and adds that multiple parties have been held at the home this summer.
She says the events at the home have security guards and bouncers, and says that partygoers are charged admission.
Following the gun violence, neighbors say they want the parties to stop.
Police are asking anyone with information on the shooting to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
