WHAT'S NEW: With the latest data, this storm will have less of an impact on Long Island. Threat of minor coastal flooding Tuesday morning, gusty winds through Tuesday night, and rain showers changing to some snow showers Tuesday afternoon. There will likely be a dry period on Tuesday morning. By the afternoon snow showers will develop with the best chance for a light accumulation in Eastern Suffolk County depending if any snow bands set up. It will likely be a now casting situation. It could become slippery with reduced visibility for the evening commute.
