Stop & Shop launches GoFundMe to help shooting victims

Stop & Shop contributed $500,000 to launch the fund where 100% of the donations will go to the people impacted by the deadly shooting.

A new fundraising effort is underway to help those affected by this week's shooting at a West Hempstead Stop & Shop.
A GoFundMe page was created by the supermarket chain.
Stop & Shop contributed $500,000 to launch the fund where 100% of the donations will go to the people impacted by the deadly shooting.
Stop & Shop says it is also helping cover the funeral expenses for manager Ray Wishropp.
The store remains closed until further notice.
