Pat and Valerie Policastro say they were scammed out of thousands of dollars by a Long Island travel agency featured on News 12 last week.
They claim they booked a 14-day Mediterranean cruise through Crafty Getaways in Oct. 2024.
The couple says they paid $20,000 for the entire trip but never received any information from the agency about their trip.
Several people have come forward with similar stories claiming the company took their payment – but didn’t book the vacation.
"This is not only about money, it’s about stolen dreams," explained Valerie Policastro.
News 12 reported that the company’s former office in Miller Place is now abandoned. Clients say the agency has relocated to Bethpage and is now operating under a new name Luxe Travel Society.
The Policastros have filed a police report with the Suffolk County Police Department.
The New York State Attorney General's Office is currently reviewing several complaints against the travel agency.
