Hate stickers linked to white supremacist groups have popped up in one Nassau neighborhood.
Residents in Westbury contacted News 12 after seeing stickers that said "multiculturalism is genocide" on street signs.
A quick internet search traces the stickers back to white supremacists and other hate groups, primarily in Europe. The stickers have also been popular in the U.S.
County workers quickly removed the stickers from the signs. They say the signs have been damaged and will need to be replaced.
Nassau detectives canvassed the neighborhood near where the stickers were placed. They say they are looking into the matter.
