Two men accused of robbing an Inwood gas station at gunpoint on Saturday are facing numerous criminal charges.

Nassau police say the duo entered the Sunoco on Sheridan Boulevard around 2:30 a.m., displayed a firearm and ordered an employee to open the cash register.

They took money and several other items before fleeing the scene in a Ford Fusion, according to authorities.

Officers later apprehended them after observing the vehicle strike a curb and become disabled on Ocean Parkway. Further investigation revealed that the car had been stolen.

Both men were hospitalized with minor injuries. Police have yet to release their names, as they refused to identify themselves.

The charges against them include robbery, criminal possession of a weapon, criminal possession of stolen property and reckless endangerment.

Authorities say they are set to be arraigned Sunday at First District Court in Hempstead.
